need some advice.

currently need some advice from people. I dont normally ask for advice on my own account, but im really on the fence about this one. I currently have 42 defence (void pure) and im thinking about getting 70 defence (barrows, armadyl, etc.). I'm 99 range / 99 mage / 60 att / 75 str. Currently 87 combat. If i get 70 defence, ill be 94 combat.

I dont really plan on raising my melee up any higher then 85 str, but keeping att 60 for claw spec. I usaully only slay / boss, so im thinking defence would help me alot, but i do like being a void nub.

Pls give me some advice .

 

In my opinion theres not much point being a void pure if you only slay/boss, and that 70 def will be a huge help when slaying/bossing, so if it were me, I'd get that 70 def. But before training it, make sure your satisfied with your 42 def experience (get your last bit of pking done, etc).

 

thanks for the input. As far as getting my last bit of pking in, another reason why i dont like 42 defence because at my level (level 87) there are maxed 1 def pures, so i get d clawed and rushed left and right. i think with 94 combat i will be fighting people i have a better chance against.

 

As Superman stated there is really no point being a void pure if you don't PK. Why stop at 70 defense though? With your current 99 range and 99 mage you could make a killer range tank if you went for 99 defense. You could achieve this simply just be slaying if you wanted to. This way the option for Pking is still open to you if you want to and your PvM experience will be much richer.

so what im gonna do is get 70 attack first, which will prob take about a week. After 70 attack, im gonna start training defence up. by the end of the month when the 700k bonus exp comes in, im gonna use all that for defence.

 

I'd stop being a void pure and convert your account into a main.

 

Okay with the EOC coming training def is going to be pointless UNLESS you're planning to max it out. Your combat will be based on def and you will be fighting really high level characters with 70 def SO either keep your def or get 70 def but get that att up..
