HOLY SHIT. It seems to be targeting goldfarmers and autotypers but they are acting on them QUICK. I just was at GE and saw an anutotyper fall to the ground and "choke" to death then immediately log..

Im fairly nervous about all this .. Trying to find yt videos of what im talking about will edit this post when i do. Discuss.

jheez although I have pretty much quit runescape it looks like they may have done something, however in that video there are still 2 other auto-typers which continue normally...

 

Yeah, its literally just started today cant get them all in one swoop but i just went to sorc garden and it literally had 3 bots tops ... this is HUGE .

 

Adbots getting "nuked" is kind of neat. It's literally within minutes after they start advertising.

People are actually gathered around to see the ad-bot explode.

Also it's worth noting that Sorc Garden and Grotworms are almost completely empty right now.

 

they are banning the obvious ad bots, not like they are difficult to detect, and disappointed it took them that long.

 

I like this idea, but why weren't they dealing with the problem all along? I mean, you can ban the advertising accounts faster than people could make them, they just weren't keeping up with it and it got out of hand.

 

My account i use idungpro on got banned so its not just obvious bots man

Look at Sorc Garden or other known bot places are nearly empty..

Yes sorc garden is a ghost town and so is grots, not EVERY bot is gone but the vassssst majority. Blue drags are still packed atm, same with turoths.

 

Lmao, banning adbots is nothing to hype about.
They are completely obvious to any player and are a immediate target to Jagex.

Everyone is hyping up this Bot Nuke like it will end ALL botting.
True is, botting will never stopped, regardless of any update because they always have found a way around it.

 

First off they are actually banning bots now, unlike the previous bot nuke where they just implemented something to make bots not work. AND its only been a few hours of this going on, i have a feeling that autotypers and a few goldfarming spots (grotworms sorc garden ect) are only the start of this whole thing. ALSO the game will be switching to HTML not java soon nerfing botting for a good while (outside of the possibility of color bots) no one is saying bots will be gone forever as thats simply not the case but this shit coming is going to halt it for a good while it seems and they are banning people in between. This thread is about the bannings and new animations they are doing (they are literally BLOWING UP bots) not about the "nuke" so if you are going to post actually read the OP and the thread before posting SPAM. There is no hype here, its simply some information for people who were oblivious to it.

Lol, after reading another thread about this, i decided to open my bot up and start boting firemaking at the G.E

Currently watching the bots "explode" its pretty cool.

 

The last nuke they banned like 700k accounts or something they claimed. Won't be surprised if they were all like f2p ones that didn't give them any cash though. Does anyone know if, when the bots explode if it is a temp or perm ban or random, like currently?

 

No clue, and i didnt have any accounts banned last nuke and that was when i was botting the most lol i had like 5-6 f2p wcers on yews all the time. i didnt know anyone who was banned last nuke either personally. Hopefully when someone has some proof as to their ban rather than this turd claiming he got banned/rolled back using idung will have some input on it. I havent found much on pbot about it either
