Magic Pots of Vecna Skull?

Hey guys

I'm going to get a Fire Cape like in 2 days.

I got full gano, poly staff, eagle eye kite shield, arcane stream neclace.

Should I buy a Vecna Skull or Magic pots? I cannot use extremes.

I got the money, and I just can simply sell it later.

IDK if it's a good option or the pots are better..

 

I prefer Vecna's, but I havent mage'd a firecape only did Kiln so yeah for me its Vecna +1

 

Honestly i suggest vecna skull all the time especially for the caves, its an invy saver and is infinite! Its one of my favorite items in game because of this, a must have for barrows runs ect

Also, when I brew, it's 3 zips of brew and 1 of super restore right?

 

Yep I'm not sure but I think you need to repot after a brew but I cant remember if you need for Vecna's

 

Honestly you shouldn't need a Vecna skull at all with a polypore staff except maybe for at Jad to speed him up if you are poor with switching for less chance of fail. Realistically just buy a magic potion to save yourself some cash. This way also on Jad, you won't have to wait the delay to pot up again.

EDIT:

Yes you do need to repot after brewing up as it lowers all combat stats, magic being one of them. Basically eat to full health for jad, or just up a bit on anything else, super restore then vecna up.

And yea I suck at switching so I think i'll tank mage lol. 67% soak should help me

 

Good luck. Remember to stay away from him so he does not melee you. When the healers come don't panic. If you still aren't able to kill him with your 67% soak, you should go to youtube and watch a video of jad to get a feel for him. Progress to having it on in the background and being on rs just practicing switching prayers in accordance to the sounds of his attacks, this will help for when you go up against Jad himself.

Yeah Vecna is the better option by far.

It saves so many inventory spaces and is an amazing source of magic boost, simply because you can just keep using it, it's literally going to never run out.

Even if you just buy one and keep it in your bank for everytime you even think about maging, its worthwhile.

 

Vecna, mage potions will waste your inventory and tbh you don't even need a vecna until maybe jad... i know people who have done it w/o mage pots or vecnas.

 

Magic pots are better cause you have to wait 5 mins every time u use vecnas.

 

I'll use Vecna , just got my eagle eye so I'm doing Jad tonite
