Confirming my last system build. Opinions?

Hey guys, after mucking around trying to find a perfect build for me, i came up with this. It's quite similar to my other build except i upgraded a few things, as a higher budget is available, which is always good ;)

Overall, including shipping it comes down to around $1350, which seems a little expensive, but australian prices are.

    Opinions are appreciated.

Opinions on the case are also wanted.

Looks kick ass man, you may be able to get a cheaper motherboard, but I don't know australian pricing.

Personally I wouldn't change a thing, that build will kill all modern games at 1080P resolution.

    Awsome, thankyou man!

Opinions on the case? I'm still weary about it, but it looks like it will definately do the job. May even add another fan on, and use the side fan to cool the GPU. Making it 4 fans, one at the top, side, back and the cpu cooler.

Do you think im paying too much for a system such as this?

EDIT: I was scrolling through ebay and found something like this. There is always something weak about these type of builds but im struggling to find it. The GPU isn't the best, but then again, it's not too bad?

Looks like a good case, but newegg says it is discontinued. Thermaltake makes nice cases too, and they are pretty cheap.

$1300 isn't a bad price I don't think. Again, I don't know how much everything is in Australia, but here in the US it is cheaper. Also, you could save $60 by getting a 60GB SSD instead of a 128GB SSD. Any reason for going with the bigger one?

Didn't even realise i grabbed the 120 GB SSD, oops. I'll change that now, thanks :)

I'm pretty sure it should be all good to go.

Whats everyones opinions on this GPU over the 660 TI?

Obviously it's better, and for some reason its cheaper?

EDIT: Just had a look at a couple of benches and the games that i currently own, so the majority of the games i will be playing, the 660TI outruns the 7950.

I was about to say, 7950 is the same price in a few places now. I think pccg had a special last week for like 299$ on the IceQ 7950 which is an amazing bargain. Don't forget you can overclock the 7950 well past stock 7970 levels (but then again the 7970 can get even further when overclocked, mine runs at 1200mhz but could push more if I wanted).

Honestly I'd go with the 7950 because it is simply a faster chip and can overclock to a much higher performance than the 660ti, but if you really need the slightly better fps in a select few games, then your choice.

could switch the ssd drive to a smart cache drive?? (i think that i5 does that?)

also when i went to buy my gskill memory/ram, it said it was reccomended not to instal any other kit after installing those ones due to compatibility issues? thus the reason why i went with 16gb 8x2 dual channel geil (lifetime warranty and heatsink(what is heatsink lol) and heat spreader with no compatibility issues) as i have a 32gb max and didnt wanna waste in case i upgraded later.

Would it be somewhat risky to OC the GPU with the lack of cooling i have in my system?
Should i improve cooling in order to OC?
Would OC'ing the 7950 result in better performance compared to the 660ti?

Could you possibly explain what a smart cache drive does/is?

In saying this, im already way ahead of you, have changed my build (Yet again lol) and am now running 16GB 1866 MHZ Ram. I know 1866 is pretty useless currently, but we never know the way technology is developing, and it was only an extra $10.

    Thanks mate!
I'll definately grab the 120gb SSD, i want the build to last a little longer :)

    Thanks everyone!
