does graphics card make a difference for multiple runescape windowS?? im building a new computer and wanna bot multiple windows.

I was quite succesfull boting on my p2 x6.

 

Any motherboard with integrated graphics will be more than adequate for running bots, focus on CPU/RAM/COOLING and you'll be fine.

 

java is cpu/ram based
gpu wouldn't affect it at all

 

ok then, should i go with 2400mhz dual channel 8gb ram, or 1333mhz dual channel 16gb ram, both sets are ddr3

sorry for double post, 2400 is 4gbx2= 8gb total, 1333 is 8gbx2 = 16gb total

 

8GB should be adequate, that's what I've had and have ran 12+ clients before without using more than 50%. Although I can't help but feel your questions would be better answered in the 'Technology' subsection of Sythe found here;

There's various members who are much more knowledgeable in computing who could give you better and far more in depth answers.

 

i spent 1500 on parts for a gaming machine. i decided to go with 16 gigs or RAM, a little overkill for everyday use but i am able to run 3 Virtual Machines with RiD bots, and 12 RSBot or Rarebot bots (whichever worked better at the time) and can still play bf3 with a lot of headroom. i didn't get the best GPU (560 GTX Ti). i noticed my computer uses less resources though when i minimize all my bots instead of leaving them all on the desktop. like gpu usage went down like 4% and CPU like 15%. hope this helps!

 

RS would probably run smoother with higher FPS if it had a better GPU. However integrated graphics should be ok for RS, but maxing RS, or running other, more intensive games will probably end in failure.

As for botting, it is generally more based around RAM and Processing power. The more/higher spec you have, the better.

 

thanks to everyone!! and sorry for posting in the wrong section . im thinking about going 4x2 total of 8gb 1866 mhz then switching to 16gb later(not sure about the 16gb tho), even tho if i ever wanted to use my full capacity that would screw me in the end being that my motherboard has a max of 32gb mem, 4 slots of 8 i think. im using the ivy bridge, i7 3770k processor (3.5 ghz, 3.9 turbo or overclock speed).

 

link to your motherboard? if you don't plan on heavy botting and other simultaneous tasks, than 8 should be more than sufficient. nice processor pick btw, wish ivy bridge was out when i made my build

if you dont find everything you are looking for there, then you can go to ibuypower.com and do custom configurate intel system, and find the motherboard there. click the ? it should give you the specs. it is a dual channel board. if you now of something better, i do have room for a little improvement, 20-30$ maybe more.

i did some research and some said ivy bridge isnt really fast then sandy, maybe a little, but does take down wattage thus saving electricity?? dunno if it true. it was the i7 3770k 4 core or the amd fx 8150 8 core. the amd appears to be faster but i could be wrong?

 

the amd was clocked at 3.6 ghz with 4.2 i think it was turbo or overclock potential

 

no it will only effect running multiple bots with them all being visible at the same time.

good luck with your build but honestly, unless you need a computer, it would be cheaper to use a VPS and bot on that. my two cents
