Users will be given 2 days to vote
for their favorite submissions. Voting will automatically
end Friday, 11:59PM. Please make sure that your
votes are not given to the user, but rather
to the graphic based on a few of the following GFX
concepts provided below.

Signatures must exhibit:
Clear and accurate representation of the SS theme
Skill in the use of graphic-designing programs
Artistic elements that are aesthetically executed
Decent use of time, and a proper dedication to GFX designing
Originality in its design, rather than a ripped or stolen concept
Obedience to any technical or graphical restriction

SS#5 criteria was as follows:
• No larger than 500x300
• Freestyle
• Usernames not allowed

Please note that begging or bribing for votes will result in your immediate disqualification. Discussion is allowed in this thread pertaining only to the designs submitted and the competition itself. I encourage all voters to post a reason they voted for the signature, but this is not required for your vote to count. Anything further will be considered spam, and will be deleted by the presiding moderator. In order to vote, you need only check the appropriate radio button in the poll provided at the top of the thread, and click "Submit". Once you enter your vote, you may not retract nor change your mind, so consider carefully who you think deserves to win, ensure you've selected the proper radio button, and vote away. If you have a question as to why your signature was not included in this week's voting, PM the presiding moderator rather than post about it here, it could either be due to disqualification or because the moderator forgot to include it. If it's the former, the moderator will explain; the latter and the moderator will be able to fix it. Voting will end automatically on Friday at 11:59PM, please make sure you leave plenty of time to allow yourself to vote accurately. When the voting is over, the winner should expect his/her prize to be delivered no later than Saturday night. The gold will be delivered over RuneScape at Lumbridge in any World the winner finds convenient. The presiding moderator will contact the winner over PM with their contact information, including their RuneScape display name, the trade location, and MSN if any further contact is necessary.

#2 has a nice grungy appeal to me so I voted for it.

#3 kinda looks like it was ripped due to the random writing down the bottom

Not really sure what #1 is all about and #3 is too trippy for my liking. I guess for #2 I just like the overall blending, hot colors, and dark-chaotic background.

 

#2 looks like someone who just found out about topaz and destroyed a tag with it. I remember those days.

 

i voted for number 3 because i believe 1 is too plain, and 2 is just not to my liking, i like the color and softness of number 3 and thats the main reason i voted for it.

1: What is this even about? Really don't like the texture.
2: The head disturbs me with the sigaret?
3: It has some kind of softness and the fading is nice

 

Voted for second one. First one, is bland. The third is really beginner work, the smudging is everywhere and it's basic smudging.

 

1. was too basic for my liking, not that i'm a GFX pro or anything but it doesn't look all that impressive.

2. Looks amazing. The effects are perfect and so are the colours.

3. Not really sure what the theme of the image is, bit confusing.

I'm an Anthony Green fan, and that random writing is lyrics to one of his songs of his band, Circa Survive.

Number 3 is quite amateur-ish. ;p

 

Ah okay, the text itself didn't turn out that well as Anthony Green is the only bit that is legible. It's not necessarily a bad piece, just I prefer #2 haha
