2) This thread is about THE BIG PICTURE. I've noted the suggestions from the old thread and I am PURPOSELY IGNORING THEM. This vote is about the CATEGORIES that contain forums, NOT THE SPECIFIC FORUMS THEMSELVES.

3) If these polls pass WE WILL WORK OUT SPECIFICS AT A LATER DATE.



Question 1: Make the Runescape Market a category as shown in red in the quote box below?

Question 2: Split the "Market" category into two categories, one for games and one for other stuff (the names do not matter at this point) as shown in green below?

Question 3: Make a market tools category to contain useful forums related to the market as shown in yellow below?

Question 1: Yes; it seems a lot of people want this to happen, even though I don't think it would make that much of a change, I'm fine with it.

Question 2: Yes; the names are really similar, though, it might be confusing.

Question 3: Yes.

But, I'm skeptical on how much activity this could decrease, because it'll be hard to find "buried" sections.

Assuming this can be treated as a trial and we can revert to our old layout if it doesn't work out.

 

I definitely like this idea, hopefully people will vote in it's favor and we can see it in action.

Looks quality mate. I think this new layout will be much better! Great work with the previous thread and this one too. Good to see some positive changes being made!

 

Personally I feel a RuneScape and Other market is enough. Yes to 1 & 3 but no to #2; they should be combined as a single Others Market.

 

and no for the last one. I think it should go under other markets as a section rather than it's own category.

 

Yes to all. I think all these changes will make it easier for new users to find exactly what they came for and for existing users, it's not such a jarring change as to really be disruptive. I'm also a big fan of this market tools idea

Agreed with Vi3, I dont feel that the markets should be split into "games" and "other" markets. I think the market tools section is a great idea though.

I feel that this redesign will be quite essential to the layout, and make things a bit easier for the noobs.

Don't frequent the market, but I read it and it's 3x yes from me.
