How to: Remove Recovery Questions from your account! [FAQ]

I've been on Sythe for a little while now and I frequently see this question asked, "How do I remove recovery questions from an account?"
Because of this I've decided to put together a quick 5 step easy guide on how to do so. This method literally takes less than 5 minutes and works every single time!

(Please note: For this guide to work your account MUST have a registered e-mail address in which you have access too!)
Support would be appreciated if you approve of this thread ​

Step 1:

First off, go to the RuneScape homepage and scroll down to the very bottom. Then under 'Support', click on 'Password Recovery'.



Step 2:

Secondly, enter your username or e-mail in which you use to login to your account.



Step 3:

Thirdly, enter the e-mail address which is attached to the account.




Step 4:

Next, go into your e-mails and you will have a password recovery e-mail sent from JaGex. Click on the e-mail and go to the link which the e-mail contains.



HOWEVER, DO NOT ENTER A NEW PASSWORD. EXIT OFF YOUR BROWSER OR CLOSE THE TAB WITHOUT ENTERING A PASSWORD. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT YOU FOLLOW THIS STEP CORRECTLY.



Step 5:

Finally, go back to the RuneScape homepage and submit a new password recovery > enter your username or e-mail in which you use to login to your account > enter the e-mail address which is attached to the account

You will the receive another e-mail from JaGex which will look like this:



Click on the e-mail and the link it contain which will then bring you to a screen where you enter a new password. This time you enter a new password and submit. After you've done this step you will now have no recovery questions on your account!
