Would You Ever Date A Girl Who Relied On Makeup?

What I'm trying to ask you is would you date a girl who look beautiful with makeup and not so without it?

I'd say probably though, depending on their character. I would likely try to convince them that they do not need the make-up however, as they would be appealing to me for their personality, not their looks. Good looks are just a bonus really.

Well that depends actually. Why? Because when considering wether she's "the one", you don't usually focus too much on the looks. Well, you shouldn't because we can't judge a book by its cover. Also take a look at her personality. She might look great but turn out to have a really bad attitude if you know what I mean. Some of them might not be really good looking without make up but they have personalities that you like. So it really depends on your taste for girls and wether you have the bad habit of judging others by their look or not. That's my view on it

This thread is mainly because the world revolves around looks. If Obama looked ugly or down syndrome (no offence). People would not vote for him.

Yes the world does revolve around looks in the media, but in every day to day life it isn't really the same.

Basically as long as they weren't too ugly I wouldn't shy away from dating them if they were nice to know, etc.

Who relied on make up? Probably not. It depends on a variety of factors, such as their personality, and so on.

 

Thanks for the emblem, and my god that is crazy. I find makeup kind of cheap, woman can look 10x hotter and men just stay natural. It's like those high school movies where the hot chick is up herself, but in reality without her makeup her self esteem would be low because of what she really looks like.

 

Yeah that can be true, they hide behind their mask of products and crap. Quite often these people are often unpleasant to know also. I know what you mean though, natural beauty can be a lot more appealing then the fake one that is presented to us. In the magazines where they photoshop models to make them skinnier it just looks unappealing to me, I'm not a fan of anorexic women.

 

In my opinion, wearing makeup is lying to the people around you.
You're basically deceiving people into thinking that you are more externally beautiful (according to today's standards..) than you are.
But for what? More confidence? To be noticed?

Holy shit never seen shit that. But it makes sense I remember hearing about a girl making some online petition for a teen magazine to stop photoshopping the girls in some teen magazine and they ended up agreeing to stop doing it. To answer the question I think if you plan on being with someone for awhile you need to be attracted to both their looks and personality. If you aren't then you're probably not going to be happy.

 

I question the practicality of that petition; even of photoshopping was no longer allowed, the companies could have just scouted for "prettier" women.

 

Well the idea of it is it makes some teenage girls think it's possible to look like some of these photoshopped pictures when it's just not.

Gosh, this girl is so dirty. I would probably date this chick if she stopped using makeup and start taking care of her face more.

She uses too much make up.
She touches her face too much, when applying makeup, you have dirt on your hands when you touch anything else. She also mentions she loves touching her face.
She probably sleeps with a dirty pillow for days and never wash it.
She probably eat unhealthy junk foods or doesn't say hydrated which also causes acne.

Probably doesn't mean she does. I'm pretty sure if you were a female with loads of acne on your face you would want to cover it up with makeup.

 

I likely would not. Physical attraction is probably, i'd say, ~40% of what I see in a relationship. some of my best moments though involve sleeping with girls (literally, not necessarily sex) or cuddling/ etc which generally occurs while makeup is not being used!

Regardless, I prefer a girl who has the self esteem not to cake them selves with make-up. It's a strong quality.

 

I wouldnt tbh, id like to date a girl with some self esteem and confidence as syhperz said
