History of Sythe Ebook - What to Put in

This whole Ebook wouldn't be about the entire history of Sythe, mainly just events I've actually witnessed/was apart of. Saying that, I really wouldn't write about RuneCMS and such.
Also, Lol'd John, but it actually will be super long ._. I didn't realize how long TC alone was xD
Honestly, E-book would be pretty centered around the following:
Tinychat/Skype Crew
Spyike
Bannings

Spyike.org ran for a good year and a half.. and tinychat/Skype Crew also went on for like a year and a half. Are there any other "shitstorms" people want to see?

Also, perhaps a section where I give my opinion on people who request it (in a non-narcissistic way. My opinion should not matter, but perhaps people are just interested in what I think.)

@Verts I'm sure you can, you have also been around here for ages . Also, I'd write something about Shawn but I really didn't know him and I would feel out of place. If you decided to write something about Shawn (and didn't do a separate like book/post) I would gladly put that in there.

 

Might want to cover Rawr Im Phat's ban, Asdf1234567's ban, and Fatih's ban. You should also include Sythe's "Post here to get banned thread" and the deletion of all ghosts irc sythe users

Maybe UE/Community Assistants? There was a little drama there I guess.

 

I think adding reasons why reputable members were allowed back after being banned and how many chances they'd blown etc.

 

Get richard to supply information on RuneCMS. A rudimentary history of Sythe's previous version would still be interesting even if it's not complete or 100% accurate. You should also include all staff who've fallen from grace-- what they've done, the punishments, etc

Skype Crew as in everyone that was involved in and where they went, and what the "Skype Crew" was.

Sindre leaking, Austin and Brandon faking logs, the whole shabang. Pretty much mean anyone that was involved/where they went.

how would you go about putting in some of the more controversial stuff without stepping on any toes Oo it just seems like this is bound to piss alot of people off but id be interested in reading it nonetheless given you could be nonobjective about it. Most of the stuff i know about the spyike situation was from sythesafe and it isnt much ahahah. Will you be collaborating with a bunch of other old members for interviews and information on stuff? Like i said it would be much more interesting if it werent so objective (having only your views on it. afterall it is a history) Either way cant wait to see what makes it in there dont skimp on the controversial stuff!

This is the truth, which Tmoe has never been afraid to tell me, and yeah we are chill as hell.

 

the only shitty part is that it's really only going to the history of '08-'12 Sythe.org, unless you get someone like Govind or Sythe himself to chip in, as they're been here since the beginning and witnessed it all

 

I should probably change the title.. I may just write a E-book about Spyike/TC (pretty much what it would be centered around anyway.) Considering those were honestly the two big things that just were spread out over a long ass period of time.
As for Spyike, for those who don't know, I helped start Spyike.org and ran in pretty much the entire 2 years that it was up. As well, he was (and still is even if we haven't talked in months) a great friend.

 

I think the one of the most important things in these ebooks is getting cool screenies that show what the site was like back in 09 or whatever. Those are always fascinating to look at to see how the entire dynamic has changed drastically over the years. Is this gonna be only about older stuff or recent events too?

You'd better not screw up the skype screw/TC part. Its always been out there that it was a group of banned users discussing hacking. You have a chance to right the wrongs tmoe... don't let me down please ^_^

 

Most people would want to know about 2005-2007 because only a few users actually remain from that time period.

 

Don't forgot to make a section about all the old banned mods.. don't forget about that Daily fellow
