fishing or yews.

Wondering what you guys think is the better option for gold farming. I have 2 accounts only one with 99 wc and the other with 70 wc. Also the same two accounts have 80+ fishing. Should i just be fishing swordfish for better profit?

 

both of them arent very good ways to make money tbh

 

well, test it urself i believe it is roughly 30k/hr for yews, i dunno fishing

 

i would say fishing, i don't know the exact gp/h rate with roctail, but i think it's better then cutting yews

 

Erm I'd say fishing to be honest. WC is poor money...

When you use the term "Gold farm" do you mean using a VPN/VPS? or do you mean running 3 bots on your computer? It really makes a big difference believe it or not on methods to use. If you're just running a couple of bots on your computer then you can find other ways to get money... If you're using a VPS/VPN you should try doing the summer garden thing you can get quite a lot of money running around 100 bots a day there...

On the other hand have you ever thought about using a mining script? I'm not sure on gp/h but I'd think it would be more than fishing/woodcutting.

I agree with ashaxx on fishing - wc is just a horrible way to make money even at 99 WC. Not sure how much rsgp/hr you'd make fishing though, as I've never done swordies for money.

Also, mining is generally better and easy to level fast, the only problem is that the good rocks will most likely always be taken by other people, whereas in fishing, there's no competition.

 

I'd even suggest a gathering script over Yews/Fishing.
The last time I was farming gold was at least half a year ago so I'm afraid I can not tell you any specific methods/scripts.

Woodcuttings terrible. I only ever see people chopping ivy these days just going for 99, or maybe new guys chopping logs to get a bit of startup cash. Fishing still seems quite popular, and I find it a much more enjoyable, respectable skill.

 

I would just make members, and do sorceress garden, or yews in P2P or something...

I would stick to trees TBH, lol

 

Both are quite over-farmed per say but I think that fishing has the lead in gp/hour if doing rocktails.

 

Agreed, I doubt it would even really be worth the trouble to bot this. I'm not really up on the current farming methods, but asking established people on Sythe can't hurt.
