Any good laptop for RS ?

Title say all !!! I am actually selling my desktop to buy an rs acc and a laptop i do not know wich one to buy ... Thanks every one!!!.

First question, is RuneScape the most heavyweight game you'll be playing? Also, will you be doing other things at the same time? (Youtube, MSN, Sythe, etc?)

 

Oh Sorry my bad :S Thanks any way !! but yeah actually i want somthing to run RS (youtube,sythe,skype etc) pretty well

 

Basically any standard Laptop will be able to suit your needs. Runescape is not really a taxing game, unless you want to play it all on HD which still looks like shit, just keep to low detail. Skype just runs in the background, Sythe doesn't effect your pc and youtube will be fine depending on internet connection.

Have you got the specifications? So I can have a look? I own a Dell Inspiron, got it for $500 or something along those lines. You pretty much only plan on doing what I'm doing so that laptop should be fine.

DELL Inspiron - Personally I don't find Dell to be really a reputable brand but that doesn't really matter
14" Smaller than mine (mine is 15.6") but 14" is plenty
Intel Core i5-2430M 2.40GHz I heard i5 is good, I don't really know much about that but 2.4 Ghz processor is decent, mine is only 2.2
6GB Memory 640GB HDD 6GB Ram is pretty good, mine is only a meager 2Gb and mine is only 320 GB HDD but that doesn't really matter, I won't use it up anyways
Intel HD Graphics 3000 I don't really know about the graphics card but you certainly don't need a dedicated one to play RS, will be fine

 

To be honest any standard laptop with a pretty good updated graphics card nowadays will be able to run RS on HD so you have a huge variety of options.

 

I've reviewed your laptop, it's basically a better and more up to date one than what I'm using to create this post now. I have a 2.2 GHZ i3 processor and only 4GB of RAM. Your Graphics card isn't as powerful and if possible I'd recommend upgrading it a bit (Mines 1GB, that's all I can remember) but what you have is plenty for general RuneScape usage as well as Youtube, etc.

If you can, try go to a store which has a 14" screen laptop and sit there and fiddle around on it, see if it's big/small enough.
