Perm Bans Will Be Removed After 12 Years!

Too funny! I just tried on a banned account of mine and got a little over 12 years myself lol.

 

Haha it would be nice to get my account back.... My account was banned back in RSC. He has about 45+ of each party hat stored in the bank.

Was involved in the AutoRune days of phat duping

 

Well atleast I know i'll get it back eventually right? Better then a perm ban haha

Haha, kinda sucks that so many other accounts that are in a similar situation will be unbanned. Otherwise you'd be rich :S

 

If they do last another 12 years if you have any rares on your account they will be worth a fortune by then

 

haha i checked my accounts banned from 2006 and banned last year all have the same amount of time to wait, o well i can guess in 12 yeas the price of party hats will drop

 

in 12 years, RuneScape as we know it now wont even be up and running...

 

It's just to stir up commotion. And they're possibly doing it in hopes that people will stick around for a bit. Or at least keep checking back, and not letting people forget about their shitty game.
And to anyone who thinks they still have rares on their accounts, they don't. Jagex puts the rares in to the GE when an account is banned considering the high demand of them.

 

haha in the rare chance the game exists in 12 years i bet you still will be banned

 

also xbob, jagex does not put rares from banned accounts into the GE. that makes no sense at all and has zero proof (considering unbanned accounts still have rares on them the proof goes the other way)

 

Unless a large majority of accounts that are banned have rares on them, otherwise the influx of rares into the economy will make the prices crash :S

 

I'd wait, if you have like 100 partyhat sets in it.

 

they remove rares from banned accounts now and put them back in the ge, or they do that for when they roll back peoples items, not sure if its both or just the second.

 

Doom 2 is still played by people online, and it came out 20 years ago.

My two permed accounts both have 105,000 hours left of bantime.

imo that was a weak decision on jagex's part, like you said that's just showing that they don't think the game will last long at all, way to go jagex make yourself look bad...
