Job interview at KFC

Hey, I have a job interview at a local KFC in a couple days and I was looking for some tips. Anyone here been interviewed or currently working at a KFC?, If so what were some of the questions they asked you? How should I dress?

 

Its KFC. I don't think there is much to it. Just cut your hair and be clean shaven and be polite etc. When they ask questions don't just be like "yes" "no".

 

They may ask some questions to see if you know a little about their history. Dress well and be polite and you should be fine.

 

Yeah just answer honestly and with confidence. If you smoke, it also helps to not smell like cigarettes when you go in for an interview.

 

It's probably different depending on where you live, but almost anyone can get a job at KFC in Australia. You've just gotta look at some of the guys at my school to see that. Just be yourself and try to be calm and somewhat professional. Dress well, but not formally (You don't need a tie or anything obviously.) Just answer the questions as best you can. Also a warm greeting from yourself always helps with the first impression. If you're interviewed by a guy a big smile and a firm handshake will help this.

 

I don't know how stuff is over there but when applying for jobs at franchizes such as pizza hut, mcdonalds or KFC, interviews just mean questions about how far away you live from the place, what time you're available and if you have any past job experiences.

Just dress well and be polite

 

Ive gotten plenty of jobs at fast food, they will ask about previous work exp, they will ask what you excell in and what you need work in, they will ask questions like "name a time you had to lead" or name a time you had to make a choice when a boss wasn't there. So be prepared for questions like this. One thing you need to think before you go in is "this job is mine" and be honest, ive gotten fired and I've never lied, they love that. Amd google appropriate attire for interviews, always over dress though.

Edit: and yes, yout def do need a tie and a nice suit, they look at the interview as more then just an employee but who you are as a person. My fiance is an ast. Manager and fast food chain she does all the interveiws.

 

Unless it's some sort of management, higher level position, you shouldn't really need to do anything special to prepare. Just use your best judgement when answering questions, look nice, and make yourself presentable. Try to bring out what you think are your strengths, and don't focus too much on what you don't know/ can't do.

 

This, just focus on the basics and don't come off impolite or strange.

 

dress casual, act polite, BRUSH YOUR TEETH

 

Act yourself, don't act like you're trying to be someone you're not. Make sure you're not chewing gum, or late. Get early but not too early.

Went today, was excellent. They just sat me on one of the tables and they asked me about when I will be available and things like that. I kept eye contact and was very friendly. I got the job all I need to do is go get my physical so I can get my job permit then I can start. Thanks for the help guys.
