Western Union?

Hey everyone, I'm buying some stuff off the internet and if I pay with Western union I get 10% off.

What are the downsides of Western union?
How does Western Union work?
Do they get the payment directly, or do I have to wait until it reaches them?

Some of the downsides include the fees & no availability in some locations, and I believe they get the payment directly (as soon as you send it online/in store, they can leave and pick it up at their local store)

The person I'm sending money to requires a Money gram number? When/how do I get this? Do I get this once I send the money out?

The MTCN number is always found on the receipt you receive from the cashier at Western Union. The receipt should clearly state the MTCN number and won't be hard to find at all.
