How long have you owned an xbox?

How long have you guys owned an xbox for?

It's coming up to my fourth year as an xbox owner, loved every minute of it

 

Round about 3 years now, love my xbox i don't think i'd ever be able to switch to anything like the PS3 or if a new console comes out

 

So, if the new Xbox came out, you wouldn't purchase it? I would for sure.

 

Yeah ofc, i mean i wouldn't buy another type of console like a PS3

 

A really long time lol. I owned the xbox, then got the 360 when it came out. Xbox>all consoles

 

I've only had my Xbox since Christmas last year. I know, slow. Took me ages to convince mum and dad to get me one and I didn't really have the money to buy one seeing most of it goes to my car.

 

3 and a half years, still have it as its beast and so much better then the PS3.

 

I have had one for four and a half years, sold it like a month ago since I only played it like once every two weeks.

 

I had my original xbox long time ago, maybe 7years from now? but then for my 360, I bought it about 5 years ago. It had ROD and so I bought another 2 slim 360's, one Halo Reach edition, and other just the normal slim.

 

Very nice guys, glad to see a lot of you have had your Xbox's for quite a while now, with the exception of Brendan

Do any of you own a PS3 too?

 

3 years here, Still going strong. I own a PS3 but i don't play it as much as my 360.

 

I used to own a Ps3.

I went Ps1 - Ps2 - Xbox - Xbox 360 - Ps3 - Xbox 360 Slim

Had slim for about 4 months or so. Better imo, more friends have it so better for gaming and can play Og Xbox games.

I went from PS1 - PS2 - PS3 - Xbox 360, still got the latter too, play em both the same.

 

I've had my Xbox360 since August last year, I don't ever see myself on a Ps3

 

Nice, nice, just passed the year mark I see PS3 isn't as bad as Xbox gamers make out.

 

had an original Xbox since like '04, got my 360 around mid '07. have had like, 7 different 360's since then lol

 

Ah I had the same problem when I owned an old xbox 360 prior to getting a ps3 (eventually selling for an xbox 360 slim though). Luckily Eb Games was nice enough with the warranty so I basically just took the console back itself and got a new one. Did this around 5 times in my over a year of owning it. They really aren't reliable consoles.

 

I got my first xbox in early 06 and have had one since. I did upgrade to a "elite" then to the current slim style now.

 

I cannot remember exactly but it is somewhere between 6-7 years.

 

My first lasted around 2 years only. I'm currently using the Slim and I have had no problems so far!
