Quick question about motherboards and all that stuff.

I'm new to building. As some of you know I've been putting off this project for about 3 months now, actually.

Anyways, I think I understand everything except for the damn motherboards. First off, why does every single damn motherboard get bad reviews?

Secondly, could someone please find me a good AMD mobo that will fit a fx6100/6200 and this? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...t-_-DesktopGraphicsVideoCards-_-14150548-L08C

I will love you forever
    really.

Motherboards get bad reviews mostly because they are reviewed by the loud minority, not the silent majority. The only time people review a motherboard is when it dies. So take the motherboard ratings with a grain of salt, because the only people who review them are the ones that are pissed off because there 1/1000 broke.

    Next, this motherboard looks nice-

Not sure how much you are looking to spend sypherz, if less I can find you another one.

Alright, that makes sense. I just haven't seen that issue with other types of hardware.

The motherboard looks alright. I may be looking for something slightly cheaper though (tax and shipping puts it over 100). What are the differences between a cheaper and a more expensive model?

Very little, right now it is the more expensive ones with USB 3.0 support, and a little better quality I guess. Most motherboards are pretty cookie cutter and offer the same thing, regardless of brand.

This motherboard looks nice for a little less-

Just know what brands to buy and which ones not to buy. Do some research and you'll know what you're talking about, which is more than most people.
