2D signature // Feedback?

I'd like your honest feedback on this work:


If you're criticising this work, please tell me what I should adjust and why I should adjust it.

Also; I'd like to get into 2D signatures alot more, 3D is getting old and they don't look as good in my opinion, even though these take alot longer to make.. Regardless, thank you for viewing!​

 

Errr, this is still 3D. But I do agree 3D is getting old. Time to go back to the basics eh?

 

3D as in Cinema4D generated signatures. This piece is fully made in photshop, the depth is created by a simple bevel & emboss effect.

 

It has a lot of quality issues with the layer style used on the text. It is oversharpened or like I said it is probably the layer style. The colors aren't very good in my opinion, they're very muted and messy looking and not in a grungy way. The stocks used in the background are just kind of boring looking and around the edges I don't think the soft erase looks very good, also the onion dome stock doesn't blend with the piece because it is a totally different color.

i honestly think without any offense that you should just stop doing text sigs now. they are so damn stale now. do some traditional sigs man
