should i buy Astros?

Anyone recommend them or is something else better?

 

I had turtle beach x31's when I had my 360, they were awesome... but you can get way better ones than those, I had those about 2 years ago

Astros are meant to be really nice, for their comfort, sound and reliability... Some turtle beaches can be a bit too easy to break.

It really depends on your budget as to whether you buy the most expensive astros or the cheaper ones, good luck buying

x41s are good personalty i like for gaming better than the Astros a40s
Turtles are a lil bit uncomfortable for long gaming sessions is the only down fall to them so i do use astros for long but for short sessions the turtle is the way to go.

Cheaper than Astros and almost same Quality.

 

Are they wireless?

They don't 'always' break... otherwise nobody would buy them. I've had mine for 2 years and they're fine. It just depends how careless you are with them, all products have their design flaws, they're not as bad as you're making them out to be though :/

 

Astro A40's SitRep Pro only way to go I highly recommend them if you enjoy gaming. Also I bought the cord to use on my computer great for listening to music as well. Just overall great sound quality.

 

I and many friends have gone through 3-4 pairs of turtle beaches until finally upgrading. If you game regularly I would strongly suggest you don't go with turtle beaches and it's not about tacking care of them, they are just made cheaply.

 

Just bought a pair of astro's last week. They are excellent, defiantly buy a pair of them.

Astro > Turtle Beach

 

I've had both Astro A40's and TB XP 500's and I prefer the TB's more.

Unless you're playing Halo 3 then I'd get Astros lol.

 

To be fair, I NEVER tried Turtles, I had the money so I spontaneously bought the Astro's. Haven't regretted it once. I game 4-6 hours a day sometimes more and I personally love mine. I am debating on A50's but don't see the true benefit for the money.

 

Are they worth the money ?

 

I have A40s and A50s and I love them. I have nothing bad to say about them.

 

Turtle beach head phones in my opinion are the best although they break fairly easily.
