Mod MMG on the future of runescape and micropayments/ also, botnuke

This is a little off-topic but I have to agree with the post. Jagex can easily sell accounts, gold, xp straight off the bat and earn a crap load but they don't. They've lost millions from the bot nukes and stuff and they don't care, they are trying to make the game better.

 

Meh, they're trying to justify their microtransactions that way, that's all. Sure, it could always get alot worse, but that doesn't mean the current situation is fine...

Runescape as we know it is dying. 50% of the players online are botting, the other 50% are gambling in one way or another. Money has way too much value in runescape. They should make all good armour untradeable, that would force players to go out and kill monsters/train skills to get the best gear. Sure, money would still have a use, to buy supplies, etc.

 

Eventhough barely anyone would support this, I believe that taking away free trade is the way to go. Junk trading was bad but it wasn't NEARLY as bad as what is happening right now.

 

I would support that actually. I doubt jagex would though.

 

I call bullshit. I gave him a piece of my mind on the RSOF by writing a serious letter. It got shut down and locked in every section I posted it in EXCEPT for the news thread addressing his news post.
