Great idea and could be helpful

Something like how people get donor badges and things like that, we should have vouches badges for users that have 50+ vouches, then 100+ vouches and so on.

This would help users get a quick glimpse of how trusted the user is, instead of clicking on their link and counting them (I do I don't know about you guys)

I understand it could be a lot of work for mods to keep up with people reaching their 50 vouch limit, so make it a system where a user has to apply for the badge once they have hit a milestone, then the mod could just check that users thread to confirm they have the correct amount before issuing the badge

Not at all. Would be too much work, and large amounts of vouches don't always mean trust. I'd much rather trust someone with 5 1b+ trades than one person with 100 upgrade sales.

 

I don't agree with this. It would be too much work for the staff to take applications and make sure each vouch is valid. Also, I think the badges could be misleading as anyone with 50+ vouches could scam at any time.

 

The number of vouches doesnt necessarily reflect on how "trusted" a user is.

For instance, one guy can have like 100 vouches of 1-15 skilling for a certain skill and another guy can have like 5 vouches of $250+

This would just end up confusing newcomers...

 

Useless. If people want a badge they can buy one from a graphic maker and drop it in their sig. Mods need to spend their pitted time on useful thIngs.
