Should I come back to RS?

Well about 2 weeks ago, I quit RS because I got addicted to gambling and lost all my my GPz (oh noez!)
I'm wanting to come back but I'm broke as shit and to be honest RS isn't really fun when you're broke.

Honestly? No, stay away from it. The game's primary purpose now is to make money out of it's customers. You're better off playing WoW or another game that's still decent to play.

No, trust me, when you come back and make some more money you'll be tempted to gamble it in hopes of easy money.

 

Well that depends. Do you think that you'd make the same mistake again? Say you have 100M. Be honest with yourself. Would you gamble it? If you would don't bother getting back to RS just to spend weeks/months making money only to lose it all to gambling. Because if you keep going, and you will, you lose eventually.

 

Don't bother, it will just waste your time and in the end you will end up gambling it again - its not a game, its a business nowadays, just see the chat when you go into it - 99% of the people chatting are about Gold Buying/selling, pretty much tells what it has become.

 

Honestly, I would not get back into it. It takes a while but you'll be much happier without the game in your life.

 

What Sypherz said is true. its better in the long run and you can focus on more important thins in your life.

 

Yeah ever since I stopped i've been doing alot of things I stopped doing when I started to play RS.

If money is the issue, I can assist you in giving 1M or 2M. I can recommend Runecrafting laws. It's easy to make a profit on law runes even when buying your own Pure essence.

 

In all honesty, no. The community on Runescape is complete shit now.

 

It's not that bad imo. But just stay away because once you gamble on here you are hooked.

 

I play 2 hours a week 3-5 days a week. I just play to pk and make money. I make 3-400 rune items in 2 weeks. thats a huge profit. If you dont play much then you dont spend or loose much. I just got scammed for everything i had. But i pked my way up to almost 1b gp in 45 days. Btw im f2p. So i would say YES play again. Just control and pace yourself.

 

You would seriously do that? I just got scammed 50m last night and It would help heaps if I had something to start with again (No I won't gamble it)

 

Would say no, you already quit it ( best thing you could have done ), plus EoC will make the game worst, so just stay without it

 

If you feel like going back and playing and start enjoying it, I don't see why you shouldn't stick around, it's just a game and a hobby, if you enjoy it I don't see why not. If you don't, well you might have lost a few dollars getting membership on your account. No big loss.

I still find questing and some skilling to be fun.

 

If your broke on RS, I suggest purchasing a few mill then start playing again if your bored.

 

Your time would likely be better spent sitting in Gamblers Anonymous meetings rather than playing RuneScape.
