    Question about buying rs accounts

Hey guys in my past I've bought a few rs accounts and they have been recovered sadly. After losing all the money spent I decided forget rs i'm done. Today i'm here to decide whether or not to buy a new rs account I've already read the page that the deal can never be safe but my friend told me there is a method when getting the correct information of the account to completely clear all the information of the account which means it cant recovered. If this is the case and this trade is done with an omm. Would that mean I could reset the information? If this works does that mean I would be able to hold on to this account forever? Thanks all answers mean a lot.

    Question about buying rs accounts

As the sticky says, accounts are ALWAYS recoverable... but to a certain extent. If the account has never been a member then there's a lesser chance of it being able to be recovered as when you go to recover an account it asks for previous billing details etc...

Also, if you add your own recoveries to the account when you get it, and change the E-mail to your own this makes it near impossible to recover, but not impossible as the very first person to create the account is likely to be able to give all details of when the account was created, the IP/location it was created etc.

If I were to give you any advice it would be to buy from a TRUSTED trader, who has previously sold many many accounts before and has quality vouches. Always look at somebody's vouches before trading with them, don't necessarily look at quantity, look at quality (but a mixture of these is key when buying anything).

Jagex are introducing the "account guardian" soon, I'm not sure whether this will up account security meaning account sales will no longer be available or possible, or whether it means that once someone buys an account it's completely theirs but nobody can be sure of this because it's not out yet...

You can use an OMM but again, this never really makes the account yours as if somebody really wanted to and had the patience and time they could recover the account back with a very well structured email to Jagex requiring them to know all the details to the account (other than the password obviously).

As far as I know there's no way of completely wiping the account details from the past as it would mean people would never be able to legitimately recover their accounts :(
Just be wise. If the person looks shady, or look untrustworthy then they probably are. Don't waste your time with them and wait that little bit longer and find a trust worthy accounts seller. It's hard to know if you're going to be scammed as anybody is capable of it, even highly trusted members among the community, although this risk is greatly reduced with them being highly trusted.

Anyway, I hope any of this helped.
    Good luck buying!

NOTE: Another tip, when buying an account ask for ALL the account details such as previous passwords, e-mails, where the account was created, previous usernames, IP to which it was created by and any other information you can think of. Though, the seller cannot always provide this as it depends if they know it themselves (if it's a re-sale) or if the person can even remember it...

    Question about buying rs accounts

The best way, is to make a new account, and have people train it, it may be more expensive, but at least in the long run, it'll be yours to keep. If you do chooes to buy an account make sure they've been here at least 6 months, and have sold a few accounts with no recovery.

    Question about buying rs accounts

It's impossible to reset account information. If there was a way, everyone would know about it, and it would practically be a mandatory thing to do every time an account was bought/sold.

If you want to buy an account, buy from someone you know you can trust.

Making a new account yourself is obviously the safest option by far.

    Question about buying rs accounts

Another thing I'd like to add - don't buy accounts from USfine and gold4fun and other similar websites. The previous owners who sold the accounts to the websites can still recover the accounts just as easily, and USFine and Gold4fun won't always be willing to help you out afterwards.

True, those websites will only care if they haven't sold the account when the seller recovers.

    Question about buying rs accounts

I would definitely consider either making the account yourself and having people train it, or buying from a user like "Video".

This will basically reduce your chances of being scammed to 0. Although the account will cost more, it will be worthwhile in the longrun.

    Question about buying rs accounts

Just make sure that when you purchase an account from anyone (Even a super trusted member) make sure they are the original owner. Otherwise there is extra chance that it will be recovered.
