First time selling GP

Hey guys I new to this and want to know some tips to sell RSGP and prevent me from getting scammed. I do have a large sum of GP to sell that is worth a lot and I do not want to lose it to some scammer. Any tips would be appreciated.

First things first, I'd seriously recommend using a Middleman for your trades. This that you trade to gold to the trusted middleman, then the payment will be sent to you. Then, the middleman will will transfer the gold to the buyer. If the middleman you use is trusted, you won't have problems with a buyer taking your GP and running.

Also, be weary of using PayPal. Even if you use a Middleman, the buyer can chargeback/create a dispute in an attempt to get your money back. You're more likely to lose the dispute than win, because PayPal don't support virtual trades.

Also, make sure to check the buyer's join date to the website.

For instance, say person x wants to buy 100m off of you via paypal but joined in august 2012, that means that they will have little to no vouches, and a low trust level.

Your best option is to sell to either powerseller's who will buy your gold in bulk, or sell to players who joined the website before 2012, as they are usually deemed trusted. Although, always keep an eye on anything that arouses your suspicion, a lot of the time your instinct will prove you right.
