>>basic<< F2p 1-99 Woodcutting Guide

Woodcutting can be a very rewarding skill, players can and have made millions doing this skill. it can be a fairly quick skill aswell. the first part of the guide will consist of where and what you will be training on, the second part is the EXP rates.

You want to start Woodcutting "Trees", which give you "Logs".
you can find them almost anywhere in Runescape but they can be found behind Lumbridge castle, or Varrock.
You are going to cut these trees levels 1-15 and it will take around 15 minutes. you will make a nice profit off this because logs are about 200 gp each.
Once level 15, you are going to start cutting oak trees, these can be found in west varrock or between the grand Exchange and the varrock castle. you are going to cut these Oak trees from levels 15-30 and it should take about 40 minutes. you will make a decent profit off of this because oak logs are about 50 GP each.
Once level 30 you will be moving on to willow trees. these can be found in draynor, east of port sarim, for south-west of part sarim, now heres where you take your choice, you can continue on out 30-99 doing willow trees, for quick EXP rates but not alot of profit, OR at level 60 you can move onto yew trees 60-99 with slow exp rates but very high profit.
An alternative is maple logs which can only be accessed in f2p is the woodcutting recourse dungeon in south-east of Daemonheim. This requires 30 dungeoneering but gives you access to willow and maple trees. there is no bank nearby so i recommend dropping or burning the logs you get. Maple trees require 45 woodcutting to cut and have decent xp rates.

Now this will be the second part of my guide, the EXP rates for the methods i posted above.


Oak Trees

LVL= XP/PH
45 = 30-32k
60 = 38-39k
75 = 40-41k
85 = 41k-42k
99 = 43k-45k


Willow Trees

LVL = XP/PH
45 = 32-34k
60 = 40-42k
75 = 45k-47k
85 = 53k-55k
99 = 62k-64k


Maple Trees
LVL = XP/PH
45 = 30-32k
60 = 36-38k
75 = 43-45k
85 = 49-51k
99 = 55-57k



Yew Trees
LVL = XP/PH
60 = 22-24k
75 = 24-26k
85 = 28-30k
99 = 33-35k

You should include Teak trees as well as Ivy if you can.

Very Good Guide But, If one thing I would Add pictures. I do understand that it is not needed.

 

So this makes training with the Willow Trees as they give off the best experience. Are there any equipments or any stuff that can boost experiences in wood cutting skill?

Of how to get 99 wcing. The way I got 99 wcing is very similar to your method, except after 80 wcing I was on ivys. Wow.. took forever. Haha

 

If your F2P I'm not familiar with any experience boosters that are actually worthwhile.

Also nice guide, it could be improved with pictures and total profit made.

 

Not even truly a guide. But I guess it may help some newcomers to Runescape in total.
If you want to make a guide..
Add some pictures, make the thread more interesting to read/cleaner, Show how many logs you need and exp for levels, requirements, profit made etc.

 

Most I can manage with 94 WCing is 50k xp/h

 

Pretty basic guide in my opinion, but overall its pretty nice I guess.

Have always hated woodcutting...but it's what I do to get my skillcapes trimmed on my pure accounts..
