how do i ask my girlfriend to homecoming?

homecoming is soon and i need a good way to ask my girlfriend of 9 months to
homecoming. Dont say some simple shit cause thats not gonna fly. thanks

 

Ehh she's already your girlfriend, something simply asking her should be fine.

But if you really want to do something special anyway then burn the question into her front lawn.

 

Do you really have to ask her? For me and my girlfriend it was kind of already known that we were going together.

Do the classic "Homecoming?" Written on your stomach and text her a picture of it.

Seriously if your girlfriend demands that much Romanticism from you that you can't just ask her to homecoming, she's too high-maintenance. Romance is nice and all, but everybody in the whole world knows that homecoming dances are about as special as going to a pig farm. Save the romance for something actually exciting.

 

I dont know where you live or your status at school but at my school all the girls like have contests to see whos boyfriend has the cutest way of asking them and they make a big deal about how theyre asked to homecoming/prom..even if shes my girlfriend shes still gonna expect something cute and clever.

 

Don't ask her and expect her to ask you. That's cute.

 

Most of the guys at my highschool would just bake a cookie cake or brownies or some other dessert and write "Homecoming?" on it. I'm aware it's simple but homecoming is not where you go all out asking a girl, save that for Prom

Just ask her and that is it. The only one you should ever do something special is prom. That is where the chicks expect something big.

 

i was thinking of doing that but shes a senior and im a junior, so she has to ask me to prom hahaha ;P

im thinking of paying for papa johns pizza ( her favorite ) and having them deliver it to her house and when she opens it have something cute written on the inside top of the box and then asking her to homecoming? simple and cute or..?

 

I assume the girls like it when you write "Homecoming?" on something, but I think that is stupid as fuck. That is not a question, its a word. That whole sentence is missing some structure, its like the guys didn't even try, they just wrote one word.

Take her to some big store, and find one of the microphone systems so the whole store can hear you, pick it up, and ask her so the whole store can hear? Lmao, off the top of my head, I think it would be funny, and I don't think she will forget it.

 

Give us some more information on her, like if she does sports or has a job or her favorite hobby or something. The best stories are the ones that tie into her life and routine somehow. (I still refuse to give you advice for asking her to homecoming based on principle of it being an extremely minute social occasion, but I can't pass up the opportunity to teach someone to score brownie points that you may or may not use to ask someone to whatever dance you want. )

For instance, my (now wife but then girlfriend) and I were taking a biology course at our university together and the professor made a huge deal in one lecture about apples and most fruits being descendants of the rose bush. I got in the dog house a few days later, and instead of buying roses I bought her a fruit basket. Instant redemption; instant brownie points. But without the back-story of the professor making a huge deal of the fruit/roses situation (and us laughing at him), buying a fruit basket seems a pretty shitty "I'm sorry" gift. So we need some back story of your girlfriend.



Btw, if you are a straight male, it's a law of life that eventually you will get in a shit load of trouble, and you will have to spend your hard-earned money to bail yourself out. If you haven't done it yet, prepare yourself.

 

Make sure she's out and write homecoming on her front lawn in glowsticks. Easy, simple, original

im a fan of the glowsticks lol, but would take a long time and her parents and people around the neighborhood may think your a little nuts. but if you want something orginal, take sporks and spell it out on your football field at school. (insert name) will you go to homecoming with me? on the football field thats what me and my buddies did... idk if they would suspend u for that they didn't for us back in the day
