Not even considered rare...I got both summer storm and sun ring...

I won one, they're pretty cool, not much point to them though but that's Jagex's mo.

These aren't exactly rare, though -- from Friday 24th to Monday 27th they were in the 'common' slot on the SoF.

 

It looks pretty cool. On the Wikias page, it states "is an item available from the Squeal of fortune throughout the summer months and will be disabled in 2013."

Does this mean the ring will vanish from accounts or just removed from the SoF?

Tons of guys won those rings already.
Will just be another pointless thing that 80% of rs have it.
Got the two rings withing 4 days of release without buyin any spins.

 

I got one aswell. I have had 300 spins on the sof and never won a rare yet...

 

I'm sure it will disappear or be purchasable through the guy in draynor.

I currently have the storm ring and think that the animation of the ring itself in the equipment tab is pretty cool. I really wish Jagex would take some of these cool new items and make them actual in-game rewards from questing bosses/ higher level equipment instead of penny pinching us with these microtransactions.

 

I've got the storm ring on my level 3 Runecrafter I've got for sale haha. I got it this morning, pretty sweet... only disappointing thing is that the cloud doesn't move over you when you move, it's static

Not sure whether they'll be considered rare. Maybe in 5-10 years if RS is running that long, but not any time soon unfortunately :/

And for people asking if it may or not not disappear. I don't think it will... It will just be discontinued as in you won;t be able to get it any more. But people who already have it will still get to keep it. There's no need for them to remove it tbh

Ice cream hat is actually pretty good if you haven't done the quest for the water tiara so you can mine granite.(bot)

i have both rings, not rare at all.. i got them both with my daily three spins tuesday i think. A bank waster imo.

It's a nice ring, cool effect. I've had one for a while, it's also pretty useful for lowbies that can't afford rings and get it. It has a few good defensive abilities.
