Finally looks like they're introducing their 'bot nuke' too... Let's see how good it really is! I'm worried about the new account safety feature as I sell accounts. Wonder if this will impact business in any way at all :s Hope not...

 

The switch to HTML5 architecture is intriguing, I bet SIMBA will hold up best to that.

^ agreed. Most of this letter is to say sorry for introducing these new "sell out" features to the game. Then it followed by them saying there going to ban goldfarmers and introduce the new bot nuke in weeks to come. So i mean theres not much to worry about atm, JaGeX will brag about there new nuke when it comes out probably followed with one of those stupid counters again.

Well, I had to choose between general and cheating and I didn't feel like posting the same thread twice.

 

I really wish they would just forget about this eoc update but that's very unlikely. As for the SoF I don't understand why people are so upset about that in the first place. Also hope they at least wait another month for the update so I can continue botting dung.

Waiting on the "Jagex Account Guardian" and HTML5 update that looks pretty cool

 

Rsbots relies on ID's and I doubt HTML5 will include item ID's in its structure. Simba will be our bot of choice from now on.

To me the Jagex Account Guardian just sounds like an anti-account-sale system.

Well RSBots has been sued and out of existence since last year...

But it will be interesting if Powerbot, Epic Bot, etc will be fucked over by the change.

Also, this will mean that not just Simba, but Robotz In Disguise, and Scar will remain usable, since they work on color and what's seen on the screen, instead of interacting with game code. The most they will have to do is fix some scripts after some graphical changes, if there are any.

 

Runescape for tablets? Wow, many a time I used teamviewer to try and get 99 woodcutting by using my tablet/phone after mum and dad had told me to turn the computer off...

If Jagex are speaking the truth and the nuke works, I'd assume so.

 

I'm not sure what to think of this.. generally id think it would be a good update but Jagex has a history of letting its players down. I guess we'll just see what happens.

 

They didn't say the anti-bot system would be in 2 weeks, they said the account guardian would be. They said "over the next few weeks"

Few by definition is ~3+, so I'd expect it towards the 2nd half of the month
