Recovered Account?

So today I attempted to log into my maxed range tank, to only find that my password was incorrect. At first I thought I had just put in the wrong password, but soon I realized it was changed. So I attempt to recover the password, and now it's saying that the email I supplied does not match the registered email...I was on this account less than 24 hours ago, with my email and my recovery questions...How did this happen, and how can I get my account back?

 

Well, did you buy it off of someone? Or is it your own account?

Email [email protected] saying your son's account was hacked (act like your mother). If you're the original owner, it generally shouldn't be too hard.. Here lately it's taken me a while to convince JaGeX I'm the original owner of my accounts though.. They demand a shit load of information now a days =.=

 

If you bought it, sadly, the original owner recovered it.

If YOU are the original owner, have you visited any sketchy websites or downloaded/accepted files over MSN or Skype, etc.?

 

I bought the account about 2 months back, but in order to change the email...wouldn't I receive the confirmation email to my own email account?

It will be hard for you to get the acc back, original owner can always get the acc back while you have another ip and also not the original owner.

 

I'd say they've recovered it back and changed all the details. If you can't recover it back yourself, your only other option is to try and get back in contact with the seller and see if there's been a mistake (He might know something you don't and be able to help you) or email [email protected].
