What will become of the fighter torso

i was looking at the torso stats in beta the other day and noticed that the torso had rune-like stats and no melee bonuses. before eoc the torso was widely used for its strength bonus but now that it is only a slightly better version of a rune platebody will it be worth to get in the remaining weeks before eoc? i personally have enough tokens in barb assault on my main for anything on the list so i was curious if anyone had information i was unaware of.

so basically,

1. Will the torso have melee bonuses?(or any other special bonus i should know about)
2. What will be worth getting on the barb assault rewards list?(for eoc)

 

Honestly, no way to tell but to wait.

For all we know with EOC, strength bonuses wouldn't mean anything.

 

you think they will add more rewards? or am i better off buying the torso and using it while i can

 

I would get it and use it for the remainder of rs2. If it sucks or not your only wasting a couple hours of your time anyway.

 

well i mean it takes much less than a couple hours to get a rune plate so i dont see why they would make the torsos that useless

 

If you have any use for it in the current game get if not then wait and see.

 

They could change/update stats on the torso in the beta.
Might as well buy it now and enjoy it while it lasts.
