Selling HighSchool graduate ring varsity ring

Selling a Highschool graduate ring or idk if its called a varsity ring anyways i got it from my grandpa and i think its pretty useless. I got a 45 dollar offer from this pawn shop but i want more.

Can't believe you'd sell something like this, I would've guessed it'd have a lot of sentimental value to it.

No it's not stolen. I got plenty if it of sentimental things from him. Most can't be sold btu this can't so i am trying to sell it.

 

Why are you guys so butt hurt over it? Let him sell his stuff, a ring is a ring, regardless of who it belonged to, not much sentimental value in it for some people.

what is the ring made out of? Gold? Silver? How heavy?

 

Is it stamped? Typically graduate rings are made of 10k gold, check the inner band. Next, if it is stamped, check to see if it's magnetic. If it isn't, let's move on to the last step: How many grams does it weigh? I'd much prefer if you could figure out how many pennyweights instead, but something tells me you'll have a hard time getting a weight period.
