Is this craigslist scam?

Emailed him/her and got this response

 

Obvious scam. Anyone on Craigslist who says any of the following are scammers:

"I got promoted and moved"
"I got moved in my job"
"I am serving a mission in another country"

Or any of the other BS the scammers say to pretend they are in another country. "Lisa" is in Hungary because "she" is a Hungarian scammer. If you don't believe me, what USA native speaks English that badly?


TL;DR: If you can't meet them in person somewhere to do the sale, it's 100% fake.

 

Honestly, it was kind of funny reading that. Anyways, "she" seems like a scammer.

With these things it's best to keep this in mind. If it is too good to be true, it most likely is.

same thing happened to me, this sweet harley davidson f150 was being sold for $3000, emailed them, a month later i get an email saying how shes going away in the army blah blah blah. stupid

 

Sometimes, they'll ask you to send them half the money to their bank accounts to insure that you wont waste their time.

And they disappear

I went through the pain of car shopping for a couple of months, only getting my car two weeks ago. The amount of cars that looked like amazing deals either turned out to be fake or there was something wrong with the car when I ended up going to check it out.

The car that was fake used that they were in another country and they left the car with a shipping company, and once I paid them the car would be delivered to our house -.-

There are good deals out there, but you need to pay extra attention to the ones that seem too good too be true.
