The RuneSpan made harder to bot?

I looked on the RuneScape home page earlier to read about the new updates and came across this article;

"In Other News

All 4 tiers of the 'Tracker' aura are now 30% off!
We've rebalanced the Runespan to give the greatest rewards to those who actively seek to get the most out of the content. Those hunting down the best nodes and participating in the D&Ds will now enjoy the highest XP and point returns available:
Point gain from siphoning from creatures has been reduced.
Nodes move more often, and take longer to respawn once depleted.
Siphoning from runespheres now yields twice the rune dust that it did before. There's also a mouse-over tooltip on the runesphere icon, revealing which floor it's on.
The XP gain from handing in rune dust has been increased to 25 XP per dust."

I've highlighted the parts which are to do with The RuneSpan. It seems as though they're trying to make it harder to bot. With a bot you could just stand around on one island and nodes would spawn fairly quickly and you could be getting the best of 80k xp/h. However, reading this they are decreasing the rate in which nodes re spawn, and give more xp for hunting down the best nodes. Also get more xp by taking part in distractions and diversions. I don't really know how this would work though, because by completing a random event how would this increase your xp/h?

I think they've realised that RuneSpan is mainly filled with botters and want to do something about it. I don't think it'll work though... Script makers will just make adjustments and xp/h will be back to normal soon enough.

Well, im glad i got my final 99 rc yesterday lol.

OT: theres already scripts on powerbot the have the ability to node hunt. So the people who have been sitting in there with like 100k ess piles will probably get more more xp now lol.

 

Hope this doesn't do anything to the scripts that powerbot offers. Just started doing RC there. Im 95 but just want to go ahead and knock it out though.

 

My Client stopped working this morning from Powerbot. I hope it's working again now =) I'll go and try!

Sounds like a good update though, runecrafting really shouldn't be a totally afk skill (even if that makes me a hypocrite)

OT: Got my 99 rc a few days ago but am botting another level 3 now. Will the xp rates be lower now or just higher if you do those extra things?

 

getting around 52k exp p/hr at lv 66 rcing. Is this good or bad compared to before?

I'm just glad I botted to 99 rc months ago. I was getting 85-90k xp/hr before.
