Forum vs Forum

Does anyone here post on multiple forums? Why don't you just stick to one forum? Overall it just seems like all forums have same content and talk about the same stuff..

Where I am getting at is I am thinking about making a forum but the thing I can't get over is why would members join my forum when they can have everything at there current forum?

 

Well, sure you can talk about anything really on Sythe. That's what we have a General/Off-Topic forum. But you see, Sythe rotates around RuneScape and its black market. Sure if you wanted to access a WoW black market you could use the one here, but it's quite small. So you'd go and find another forum with a bigger black market.

Sure one forum can cater for many, but there are other markets that specialise better.

 

Yeah thats how I feel. Sythe I would say is the best place to come for Runescape related. But what if you were looking for any major MMORPG. Im talking RS, D2,D3,SWTOR, WOW, GW, GW2, Eve, Rift, Final Fantasy, etc. Do any site come to mind that offers all those?

I've only ever really played RuneScape on a dedicated level, so I'm not overly familiar with fansites for a majority of those games. I know that their are certainly some large WoW ones out there.

Different forums cater to different needs, i used to be active on about 5 other sites to promote my skilling services, so i was there purely for business.

I used to be active on another forum, but it was totally different than sythe.

 

I do have to agree with Dave about different forums catering to different needs, depending on the user. I've had my fair share of forums that I've been a part of, but as of right now I'm only using Sythe and Powerbot due to Powerbot having RSBot.
