Only found out recently skrillex has cancer! This was very shocking so i thought i'd share it, i wish him the best!
Did anyone else know this?:'(

I greatly dislike Skrillex, not as a musician but as a person, so if he really did end up getting cancer, I'd probably high five him.

Skrillex is one of those guys that is in it for the money. Dubstep, as I know it anyways, is a genre of intense techno that revolves around community and music, not money.

 

he left his band 'from first to last' and became just a dj its not his fault he makes music which people end up loving. he could be a complete cuntfuck for all i care, i like his music.
i mean look at jacko, he touched kids but his music was great

I think he's stupid for leaving From First To Last to create beats and make pure profit to himself, yes. FFTL sucks ass but Skrillex on the radio is worse.

I don't really think of him as a money whore, but if someone were to offer him money to get cancer, he'd jump on that shit. Lol.

This made me laugh because he left FFTL at the height of their success to make techno and house music. He was in obscurity for several years while he built up a fanbase of people that enjoyed his electronic music. He didn't say 'Damn, I gotta make dubstep because there is more money in that than there is in my already famous and very successful band.' People don't like him because he took an 'underground' music genre and brought it into public light and they can't be hipsters and just be 'Oh, so you've never heard of dubstep.'

That is what is wrong with music, people don't want to share it.

 

Kind of ironic considering he's a cancer to the music industry.

Edit: Ya, I remember when he was in FFTL. I used to listen to him back then.
