Flyer - Club Night

Rate, Hate?

Constructive criticism is welcomed

Any pointers to make this look better for a Club Night Flyer?

 

I suggest making the text a tad bigger or at least the title bigger.

 

This is just the basic information they wanted me to put on it. They will be adding the information for the night themselves. That's why I have left room for it.

Any other suggestions?

 

The Image of the girl lacks quality in my opinion. Perhaps try to find a HQ picture to go in the middle. Also title needs to be a bit bigger, especially "Spensleys Emporium".

Other than that looks good buddy Keep it up!

 

I agree with the image, but again I'm working with what I've been given.. This is the image they supplied.. Nightmare I tried duplicating the layer and sharpening the shit out of one and burring the other, then overlaying the blurred image to get this *much better quality than the original they requested.

I will discuss whether changing the render image will satisfy them as the current one isn't quite to standard.

Most of the text should be redone. The top text should be bigger, and the border on it looks bad. Try a nice white/whiteish grey, and a little bit better font (new font optional).



If those are logos, you should consider putting them closer together, and the ethics one looks way out of place.

The background is a little cheesy, but if they like it, they like it I suppose. Personally, i would look at a couple of flyers too see what looks good for future projects.

The movie-style borders on the top and bottom should be about the same length imo, but I'm a stickler for symmetry on those kinds of things lol




Well, that's all I could think of. Don't have to change everything because of what I say, but that's just what I noticed.

 

Thanks for your response Evil - I agree with you on the borders and logos. These will be changed, as for 'ethics' that's the name of the event/night that's why its up there. Perhaps it needs enlarging and a better font.

The effect of the white lines crossing or the eyes? Or both?
