recommendations for when u feel like shit

does any1 have any sugestions for what songs i can listen to right now cause i feel like shit today was a shitty day i need music to keep me alive

I listen to a lot of nostalgic music. Not like the Ocarina of Time soundtrack. But songs that have stuck by you in the most important parts of your life.

 

this this this this!!!!! whenever i feel down, i throw on a song that reminds me of good times in highschool or from the best summer break of my life. it always cheers me up.

 

For me, it has to be "Don't Stop Me Now" by Queen. Freddie's voice in that song is amazing, and the up-beat lyrics/tempo really cheers me up. But, that's just me. If this doesn't help much, just do what Sypherz says, and listen to songs that are important to you.

also, I know how it feels when you're first bummed out, but once you're done with the first phase of not wanting to talk to anybody (thats how I am anyways), it's always good to talk to a friend you trust.

edit - also, agreed with above, I listen to the songs that i listed because they bring me back to a moment in my life. It's really important to find those songs that mean a lot to you.

i listen to violent femmes when im bummed/caught up in emotional gay shit. A GREAT ALBUM by them is their 83 st . I also listen to alot of townes van zandt when im down, i tend to gravitate towards more lyrical folksy stuff when i have alot going on
