How many bots would this laptop run?

Right, it's quad core. So it'll run about 8. Although, I haven't run bots since 2010.

How much RAM would be suitable for 12 bots?

 

I can (and have) run 12 bots efficiently with my Asus G75V laptop which has the following:

Core i7 3610M (2.3GHZ)
12 GB RAM
Nvidia GeForce 670M GPU

I also played LoL and browsed the internet and such as normal with no lag/hangs. Just make sure you minimize the bot clients.

Yes, i would suggest getting a cheap GFX card anyways. I could run 8 bots with intergrated gfx no problem, i never tried to bot more though.

Also, the guy who said about quad core only running 4 bots, on an old pc i can run 3 bots on a dual with 2gb of ram which limited me to 3 because i had 2gb of ram.
the ram is what will probably limit you unless you have like 16gb+ of it.

 

Would the same specs with 8gb ram run 12 bots? Because I don't think the Java goes past 600k.
