Data analysis tool?

'Hi,

Today we have banned a large number of accounts involved with self-titled “botting clans”. All of these accounts have been identified by our new data analysis tool and are 100% guilty of breaking our rules. These accounts have been permanently banned with no chance of appeal.

As mentioned on the forums yesterday, expect more bans and punishments in the very near future.

The use of bots will not be tolerated and will result in permanent action against any accounts found to have cheated in this way.

Thoughts on this? is the only way we can be banned by being reported?
Or do you beleive them with this data analysis tool?

It's BS.
Jagex is terrible and always has been fertile at banning botters.
Tons of regular players have known about these botting clans for months, they are blatantly obvious and clanning up made them even moreso.

No need for special tools to catch the most obvious of botters.

Jagex just likes to root their own horn and throw around bug special words to make the legit players feel like they are actually trying hard to fix the game.

 

Yeah i get your point, been looking on the PB forums, seems a couple of people have been banned using idung, Hopefully its not from this so called 'data analysis tool'

 

That is probably because they botted 24/7 and that is not human like at all.

 

it appears more people are getting banned on a daily basis, i need to bot 95-99 agil but not sure if its safe to

Also, I believe that part of their data analysis tools are the precursors to the Automated Detection Systems they are developing, and perhaps they are simply testing out different features for their effectiveness and false positive potential. Jagex has no data analysis tool. They suck.

 

Bullshit, been botting idung 24/7 @ 100 dung atm.
