What is this wizardry ?! +13 from 99 summ?

Okay i was watching a pk video of pink asians http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yHNzS3fxO8w&feature=related and am completely confused as to why it kept showing +13 on his level.

I thought 99 summoning was +12 ... can someone please explain this ? Im positive it wasnt on a private server or anything and it had already occurred to me that this boost might be possible with the +1 summoning boost wearing the cape would boost but he wasnt wearing it either. Just wondering what an explanation could be.. im 89 summoning on my main and thought +12 was the maximum amount of levels you could gain from 99 summ but since im only 89 summ i figured id ask here. Thanks

 

i've seen this too. apparently it goes to 13, then when you get maxed cb it drops to 12, something like that anyway

 

Summoning and prayer each add like +12.6 or something when maxed, but prayer has priority. If you are 99 summoning and less than 96 prayer, then Summoning adds +13.

 

I have a turmoil pure that is only 95 prayer and 99 summ but it's only +12 :S so it can't be less than 96 prayer are +13?

 

like i said im only 89 summ :\ so i would have no clue, maybe i havent been paying enough attention in videos but i havent noticed any +13 combats before. But kero sounds right as pink asian didnt have turmoil or anything in that video so it may be dependent on the characters prayer level ?

 

It's because summoning does not raise your combat level so getting 99 summoning will only get you 13 combat levels so outside of wildy he is actually 16 combat, but in the wilderness he's level 3+13 I'de LOVE to own an account like this but getting charms would be stupid....i'de need a soul wars bot But i think i actually might work on a build like this sounds awesome!

 

Okay I bothered do some research now, and here's the real numbers:

99 Summoning and 99 Prayer are both worth +12.25 combat levels. This means that if your combat level is at n.75 or higher (for example, 105.95) one of these two gets the extra rounded value. Your F2P combat is calculated first, so prayer is prioritized for the rounding, but sometimes your F2P combat level can bring you within 0.25 points of levelling. Since 98 summoning is worth 12.125 and 99 is worth 12.25, a F2P combat of xxx.75 or higher can potentially allow for a +13 summoning.

Therefore, for Mx King's Turmoil Pure, he probably has a natural combat level of something less than xxx.75, so his summoning doesn't get to round up: Let's suppose he is 80 Att/99 Str/30 Def/99 HP and 95 prayer. This puts his F2P level at 102.05. Adding his 99 Summoning, he gets +12.25 levels, for a total "P2P" combat of 114.30. Combat levels are always rounded down, so his combat goes from 102 to 114, which is +12. Now let's consider instead a maxed main with, say, 96 prayer. The F2P combat level is 125.85, rounded to 125. Adding in +12.25 from maxed summoning, his level is now 138.10, rounded to 138. Therefore, his summoning increases his combat from 125 to 138, which is a +13 increase.

So basically, the guy in your video has a combat level of 91.75 or 91.875. Adding his +12.25 makes him up 13 combat levels because it rounds down.

Does that make any sense? lol

Titans add to your dps a lottttttttttttttttt especially at low levels. 99 summ on that account was a bit overboard imo though

 

If you have maxed stats with 96 prayer you also have +13 I believe.

 

Wait, say you're 50+13, you can attack only 49-51 at level 1? Or are you basically level 63?
