Today iDungeon went Premium for $20, so yeah, I'm pretty sad haha.

At least it got me to lvl 89

'iDungeon Goes Premium for $20' would be better.

It's a very smart business decision and will make them a lot of money :].

 

There's a possibility that I'll buy it, but probably not. Powerbot is just greedy and wants more money than they all ready have.

 

I wouldn't call it greedy. It's their most popular script, and paying only $7 a month for it + a bunch of other scripts in VIP package is too cheap IMO.

Ans isn't' just a one time $20 fee? So 3 months of VIP would have gotten you it anyways (minus all of the other scripts in VIP) but buying is permanant ownership.

If it has the highest popularity and usage, then why not sell it as a premium script, from a business standpoint it makes so much sense.

$20 Isn't that much anyways 3 hours of a minimum wage job and it's yours!

I thought of buying it but I don't have $20 (sounds like I'm a leecher or poor or something) but if the EoC wasn't going live I'd buy it

But for me is a waste if it's gonna be obsolete in a month.

Also, it has happened when major updates came, the bot stops working and goes somewhere else, like on rsbuddy and people having to rebuy it like 2 times now

 

Yeah not is not a good time to invest in any bots/scritps etc in general, with EoC and Bot Nuke talk going around so much and assumed to happen soon, it just depends on how much you pay is worth how many hours to you.

If $20 getting you at least a few weeks of Dungeoneering botting done is worth it to you, then buy it, but if you'd rather have $20 get you months and months of usage, it's best to wait.

 

Yes, that's why I won't buy it. I paid $8 already and got it for week and a half.

Got me 50 levels so I'll train for myself for some time 'till everything happens

I bought Idung on rsbuddy, then rsbuddy went down before I got to properly use it. I'm not falling for this one too.

I will be using Coma's Singular Dungeoneering. It is supposed to give 15% more XP/h and will be able to find 5 player parties and cooperate in parties. It is supposed to be released in 1st of September. At least that's what Coma wrote in PowerBot.

 

People are greedy, i had 30+ auth codes on Nexus (Over 500-600$ worth total), guess what? i didnt mind it at all, all of those auth codes that i bought (Apart of Dung on Nexus) was awesome, and all the money spend on it, went to developers and nexus, 100% deserved.

I even donated extra money, espically to Perfecticus, as he surely put in alot of time.

 

$20 may look like a normal price but:

1) you can only run 1 account for this $20
2) to run more accounts you need to pay $20 for every account.
3) you also need VIP
4) EoC is coming soon which should definitely break the bot and script for some time
5) Bot nuke is coming soon and if you remember last bot nuke we waited for a loooong time

 

I'm not buying it for a third time if it is that expensive.

Good luck to all of you who buy it now. It's a shame Kiko will happen to "lose" his financial records after the EoC update and you will have to buy again.

 

It's gonna be useless once EOC is released so I'll wait till it's working with that before I buy it.

 

Well, if you plan on botting some dung with it and selling the accounts, or REALLY need the dung levels , then yeah, it's worth it..

But if you're buying it to use sometimes, and maybe it's not worth the $20, don't get it, because of the EoC.

It's smart on their half, get some extra bucks before the EoC comes out.

 

Why would anyone buy this with the issues powerbot has been having with randoms?

iDung was the only reason i started botting again, and the only reason i came around to powerbot at all . I dont see $20 usd for what it is as a bad price at all as its a fantastic script but with the eoc coming i agree its a horrible investment. Something you guys should look into is Masterdung http://www.powerbot.org/community/topic/687095-masterdungeon-by-pat-ji-nex/.. i get better xp rates with it than idung ever got me. The only issue is that it was only just released and has some bugs so its not something you can just run indefinitely but before idung went premium the scripter was updating it daily and making a lot of progress with it. I like the fact that ive had conversations with the scripter and its very much a living script (not to mention the great xp rates it gives me before it runs into a bug) i run it when i can half ass baby sit it and idung lite over night. When masterdung gets ironed out i fully expect it to be better than idung .. it gets better xp rates and plays more intelligently my only concern is with pat (the scripter) working so much on it right before the nuke is that he may get discouraged post nuke having to do it all over again :\ . Its free its on sdn and does c6's , just an alternative to you idungers for the time being atleast

 

I bought VIP for IDUNG and 5 days later it goes premium...FML

 

20$ wouldn't be bad if you could run multiple accounts on it. I don’t see anyway someone would pay 100$ to run enough accounts to use the party feature. Even if you sold the accounts you wouldn’t make that much after buying those auths.
