what is your definetion of love or falling in love

Having gone over this question(s) numerous times in my philosophy classes the last couple years of college...

Simply put, Everyone's definition of "Love" or "Falling in Love" will be different. It's a choice.

    Example:
Your favorite color is blue, why? Because the sky is blue.

My favorite color is blue, why? Because the ocean is blue.

Who is right? Is the ocean being blue better than the sky being blue? What if you are afraid of the ocean, does that mean you can't like the color blue?

It's a very open ended question that could go forever really :p

" The end of the world will start with the definition of love. "

As TheGoon somewhat stated, you'd have to define love first.

But love is different to everyone, so you'd get varied answers.

Love is irrational, yet necessary to all human beings.

Love is a strong emotional bond with someone that makes you care for them deeply and often want to be with them.

I'd say love is a relationship between two people, beginning with infatuation, and ending with a level of respect and care towards the person, admiring them enough for it to not just be about fucking them, but living alongside them and sharing a bond.

There are many levels of love, but I'd say the most meaningful is a bond between two people that has grown beyond raw infatuation.. though of course the matter is subjective.
