Is mining seriously going to take this long?

I was doing some calculations about botting coal/gold at lrc (currently 82 mining) and I figured out it will be about 35 days botting 10 hours a day until I hit 99....

Is there some serious increase in xp rates from the 35kish xp that I'm getting per hour now, or it actually going to take that long?

Already googled a bit, just trying to get some help from someone who actually has 99 mining and can share their experience.

 

#1. I never understood why people only botted 10 hours. It won't help your chances, you're still botting. Besides, Jagex doesn't care anymore.

#2. In Living Rock Caverns you can often earn up to 50k experience per hour with a dragon pickaxe.

+ Dragon pickaxe mines 15% faster

And consider getting varrock armor it lets you occasionally mine 2 ores at once

 

Back when botting was at its height I pulled in 99 mining at LRC on Gold Ore using a Dragon Pickaxe.

Xp was pretty nice.

 

Xp is closer to 100k/h than 50k/h.

When I botted 77-99 at lrc my xp/h started off slow around 35k and went to 45k xp/h when i hit the mid 90's. Why not just bot it 24/7?

 

When I botted lrc max I got was 45k an hr with d pick

 

Bot for a longer amount of time, and use a dragon pickaxe. Doing so will greatly decrease the time it takes to get your 99.

Yes, mining does take very long.

 

I botted an account to like 23m mining exp at LRC, it is not slow at all.

I can't remember the figures of exp, but I'm pretty sure it was like 60k/hour, and you can't complain as you make a lot of money along the way.

I probably mined like 85m worth of gold ore.

 

Sure, mining is quite a trek, but the money you make is worth it
Also, there aren't actually too many of them around, in comparison to a skill like fishing, or woodcutting

Mining takes a long time. You will get more exp an hour using % increasers and drop mining (few scripts for SIMBA) a dragon pickaxe will also increase you xp hr greatly.

 

You botted that. I mined 200k iron manually, so quit crying. =D

try also using:
-urns
-a mining familiar
-a barbarian horn (it only increases xp/h slightly, but you won't mine as much at least)

 

Alright guys, thanks for the help. Ifh, where did you get those xp rates from?

I would think that increasing my botting time from 10 hours a day to like 18+ would just put a nail in the coffin if I was flagged or something.

I might consider botting 16 hours a day though because I have actually played that long legit plenty of times.

edit: Remember that I am botting, urns are decent but I have to keep running to the bank to do it. Familiars aren't supported and things such as horns don't matter because its a bot; it won't get tired!

Hi, I recommend you 24/7. There's no difference to botting 10, 15 or 24 hours a day and in the end you are still botting.

 

Yes but I'm sure there is a difference in someone who bots 24/7 for a week and someone who bots 10 hours a day.
