New laptop

Is this good for a new laptop? I will be doing Youtube videos

 

For YouTube, yes this will be plenty.

 

Yes for just YouTube. For gaming, daily internet surfing probably not. If you were making videos why not just go for a Mac? (inb4 Apple Haters).

@OP, its perfectly fine for youtube videos. If you intend on editing videos, you may struggle a little bit.

 

Just because someone doesn't like a Mac doesn't mean they don't like Apple. I for one love Apple and Mac. That being said... Suggesting to someone to use a Mac for performance software is an insult.

Macs are known to have awful/ancient technology. For 1,300 you could buy a very nice, high performance, laptop from another brand. The same price could buy you a Mac with i-3, 4gb RAM and no graphics card.


@OP; The computer would be find for browsing YouTube. Editing videos, gaming, etc. would cause more than a headache for you though.

 

He posted a while ago asking about computers for youtube videos. When he says that he means editing and creating videos.

For that look for a laptop with an i7 and atleast 8gigs of ram.
