Mass Bans among RWTers & Botters

Jagex still acted way too slow though. Took them over a year to identify just 3 ring leaders involved.

 

Took long enough, funny thing is, I remember someone pointing out a "goldfarming" clan not even a couple days ago. Wonder if they were one of the ones banned.

he was selling on his dice website ranks for 3000$...

 

I love how fishy made a 250b bank bid that day, showing he hasn't rwted, or it could just be a bunch of the hosts money pooled together to save his ass

 

With the ammount of RSGP these guys were making and selling, they we're making over a part-time job without doing anything.

Jagex is just made because RWT'ing doesn't earn them money.

It stands for Real World Trading.

It's normally to do with GP and sales on websites like this.

People will trade in game GP for real money.

 

I'm sure that if jagex hired one mod just to go around runescape and spot bots in common places (green dragons, Red Chins, runespan), that one guy would ban more bots than their current system.

i was watching one of his streams on ow3d.tv and he was saying how he doesn't real world trade like people would believe him. he has 250B which is like 110-120K irl and he's not gonna sell any? lmfao. now hes screwed though because no doubt jagex is monitoring his account, if he starts trading huge ammounts of gp they will probably wipe him.

But tbh i reckon Fishy is probably legit, how could you even try to rwt 250b and not get caught, its not like shifting 1b, 10b, imo trying to rwt 10b+ is going to pull some attention to your account... let alone 250b

 

For people buying rsgp, what are precautions they should take/chances of them getting banned?

Like... Amount/week to avoid or something? Anything

 

I heard he had a live stream with Mod Jacmob, and he claimed to not RWT. However, think about it logically: If you had 250bil and you did in fact RWT, are you honestly going to tell a J Mod that you do? Of course not, you're going to lie your ass off and hope for the best. Stokenut used to always deny RWTing in videos, interviews, etc, and guess what, after his RWT ban, he admitted to RWTing a minimum of 50,000$, less than 100,000$ though.

Well, I've known some super famous stakers who would offload a few hundred bill a month to RWT sites and Sythe Resellers. They would ONLY stake phats or Phat sets, nothing less.

But also, think about it this way: Is there honestly any reason to store 250bil on a single account if it's 100% legit? He could get 200mil exp in all buyable skills and still have money left over, but if you look at Fishy's stats, they are most just simple 99's, not much exp gained after 99. Even SUOMI, the number one player in RS, doesn't have massive banks like that; he accepts donations from rich friends or fans and spends it all training skills the fastest way possible. There is no real reason to just have 250bil sitting on your account just to look pretty as a legit player.

 

It would pretty stupid if he didn't RWT all that stuff.. I doubt that isn't RWTing.
