    I got hacked... I didin't download any suspicious or etc... They took my email and rs account, didin't change email password, just the email recovery of the rs account.

    I need all the info I need to keep myself secured :(.

    Get a virus scan first. Malwarebtye is a good scanner.

    You could have gotten a java drive-by.

    Have you accepted any downloads over skype? That can be the reason.

    Hey Simaas :)

    Sorry to hear about your RuneScape account. Have you had any luck recovering it so far?

    As far as your PC goes, certainly get Malwarebytes and scan your computer as often as possible - I assure you taking the time to do so will save your headaches in the future. As well as Malwarebytes, I'd certainly considering getting AVG free, or even getting the paid version if you want to be really safe. I have the free version and over the past year it's saved my laptop from virus' multiple times.

    Other than that, just be sensible. If something seems too good to be true, don't click it. Never accept Java applet requests unless you're certain the website it safe - otherwise you're just asking for people to hack you.

    Sorry about your loss, hopefully you have more luck in the future :)
