"Parallel Sythe" [Please Help]

Okay basically... Something weird is happening,

When at my girlfriends my Sythe works fine on her laptop, all my recent posts/threads/PM's are all available and my vouches are there ect... But when I log on at home, it is as if i have been "rolled back" like I lost alot of my threads, postcount and vouches ect, all my threads seemed "old" like i had to re-edit them.
But I could post, and I even posted on my vouch thread "have i been roll backed?" and someone quoted me like "i got rollbacked too i think", but now I'm at my girlfriends that post apparently never even happened, and there is no quote from the other guy, but I have alot more postcount here and my vouches ect...

Why is this? How do I fix it?

 

There's been a database roll-back, nothing wrong your end. Anything that was lost in the roll-back is going to stay lost I'm afraid.

 

Yeah I assumed it was a roll back as I lost many vouches/posts/pms/postcount/threads at my house.. but now I'm at my girlfriends they have all returned?

 

Hmm, I think you're right. Maybe they managed to restore the database up to right now. Either way it seems everything is back to normal.

 

Weird, I can't work out what the problem is

 

Basically, they did a rollback due to database issues, so the site had been restored to a few days back. Then they seemed to recover the database to today, they also took the announcements down. So basically, as far as the site goes the rollback never happened.

 

Other than my home laptop! :O
