What Did You Do This Summer?

As summer draws to an end for most of us still in school, anyone wanna share what they did this summer that was fun/exciting/boring?

For me;

• 4 Summer Classes, 12 Credit Hours (Bios 220, Bios 221, Bios 331, EMS 200; Genetics, Genetics Lab, Eco Lab, and Emergency Medical Services respectively)
• Worked at a dental clinic and a juice bar (~250 Hours combined)
• Licensed as an EMT
• 1 week vacation in Cali
• 1 week back home in Texas
• Flying back to Chicago on Aug 25th

School starts up for me on August 27th :'(

 

Worked at a small shop building parts for robots to paint cars M-F every week pretty much, made a lot of money.

Chilled with my best friend pretty much every day, smoked a lot and just chilled.

Went to Myrtle Beach for a week with my friend.

School starts up on Monday, but I'm sorta excited.

 

Smoked a lot of weed.
Went to some killer parties.
Saved up a lot of money for a new car
Installed HiD headlights in my current car
Took a General Physics summer course

 

- work
- 4 summer classes (like you )
- spent a couple weeks back home

Nothing too exciting, really.

 

- Went to the gym everyday for 1 hour and 30 minutes minimum
- Worked with my uncle surveying land for about 140+ dollar's a day (lol almost 300 dollars for 2 days of work better than a full time at mcdonalds son)
- Spent way too much time on the computer.
- Enlisted in the United States Air Force.

 

Took it easy for the most part.

3-week math prep-course, visited Arizona, worked on music, skated, chilled, etc

 

-Failed Grade 10 Science in summer school for the 4th time.
-Spent a lot of time blazing.
-Spent a lot of time on the PC.
-Got a job working for a computer manufacturing company(I don't wanna specify, but it's like companies like HP, Dell, ASUS, et cetera but those aren't the companies I work for, I work for a different one).

Snow what college you going to?

 

Finished up all of my highschool credits I was missing (2 years late)
Got a new bass
Shot a music video (coming out on the 25th)
Recorded an album (Started in may, done all of my bass tracks except for one song, album is coming out in either September or October)
Got on some gigs with reputable bands (Played with Anvil on July 20th, Playing with the Agonist on August 25th)
Started renting out a jam space with the band which I now treat as a second home
Like many others on the thread, smoked a lot of weed.
Learned some pretty valuable life lessons
Progressively spending less time on the internet

 

School Starts up for me on the 27th aswell, but my lease for my apartment starts on the 22nd... 5 days of partying woo.

Yeah but this summer:
-Took 2 classes [ English and Web design] and xfered them to my university
-Internship at a tech company that my family friend owned i got at least like 200 hours in super eye opening and paid 12$ an hr to sit there
-Vacation in VA Beach for a week was nice

 

a whole lotta gears of war, some golf and a few bike rides

 

I'll do my best to keep it anonymous, but I attend university in the wonderful city of Chicago

Graduating this Spring, and I'll be headed down south back home to Texas for a DIY postbacc at one of the UT schools to re-take some undergraduate coursework and other various upper level science courses.

After that I'll be applying to medical schools around the country, if I don't get any love I'll be partaking in an MS at hopefully one of my dream top-tiers (Barring a decent GRE, I'm competitive for schools such as NYU, UCLA, NU, etc.) and then taking another shot at the rigorous application cycle upon completion of my graduate degree.

Growing up sucks, I should just quit and become a rapper.

 

Went to Southern Spain, that was about the only worthy mention of Summer. Unless you count dropping out of College. Training starts next week.

 

Graduated HS, went on eurotrip with friends to spain italy france england. Chilled for 3 weeks. Family vacation in spain. Off to college in a week.

 

Built a website.

I spent about a month getting all the content and designs together for www.DormSetup.com and I'm going to be launching and advertising for it soon.

-Got accepted into a really good school
-Moved across the fucking ocean
-Got demoted
I have absolutely no life

 

Got Accepted into one of the top universities in the UK.
Had a lot of job interviews but I didn't get a job haha
Nearly finished getting together all of my supplies for university
Spent lots of time with friends and gf
Came back to Sythe to make a bit of pocket money Which has helped pay for the new PC
Built myself a new PC to take away to university
Crashed my car
Swam a lot
Went to Majorca with my family, had a really nice time.


25 days until its back to education :'( Can't wait though.
I've had an extremely long summer though, i think i signed off of college on the 22nd of June

 

I really haven't done much at all. Just relaxed and enjoyed not having to go to school.

I accomplished exactly nothing productive.

 

I worked my dead-end job. ^_^
