400K Cooking XP/Hour! Fairly expensive though...

This is nice but fairly expensive for the laymen who cannot afford it. For example: 76-99 costs roughly 68 - 72M but can be done in literally 3 days.

Buy an ass load of grapes (limit 1000 per hour) and an equal amount of jugs of water (limit 10,000 per hour) and make jugs of wine...

Simple, well known, yet unused.

If you have multiple accounts, transfer gold and buy certain amounts of grapes on each account. You can also make the wine in a populated area like the GE and ask wealthy-looking players to buy the grapes for you (it'll probably cost a little more if you're nice and compensate them for their troubles).

You literally get like 400K XP/Hour with this. I started yesterday evening after work at 76 cooking. I've worked for just a few hours here and there and as of right now I'm already nearly 90.

 

This is extremely known and there's a huge reason why this is under used.. It's much too expensive for cooking.

Yeah, what punk said. Cooking is the 2nd most common 99 (after Strength) and is known to many as one of the "nooby" skillcapes. It just simply isn't worth an amount such as 70m. Hell, I wouldn't pay 2m for 99 cooking. You can easily make money off of it. Lobsters are 150k/hour which isn't too bad for the lower levels, and once you hit the upper levels, rocktails can give over 250k exp/hour which also isn't bad at all.

However, I have to admit I haven't heard about this method at all, so props to you for revealing it to the community. I have been off RS for a while though, so I'm a bit rusty.

True. But with a lvl 3 skiller like myself. Money for senseless skills is all I have =)

 

Really pointless to waste so much money on cooking. I can get 250kexp/hour and not lose money at all.

 

But with money aside, if my goal is a cape and all I had to do was hand over 60M and 3 days of my life, I'd say that is worth it.

 

You can get the same xp/hr at the same price/hr with a whole lot less clicks and good magic xp/hr by using Bake Pie on summer pies.

 

Hmm, thats true. Never actually thought of that. I'm currently only running a lvl 3 skiller now though so I'm limited.

 

This isn't used for a reason, you can literally get cooking botted with profit in 4-5 days and legit in less than a week.

The only reason to use this would be if you were maxed and going for 200M cooking xp or something like that where you really care about efficiency(if you are at that point you already know about this)

I would rather cook sea foods as it won't cost you such large amount of money. At level 70 cooking, I made it through level 90 by simply cooking Swordfishes.

Good guide, simple layout but great guide. 72M is nothing, I'm going to use this on my pure.
