Fury or SS?

Fury. SS has the same stats as a whip and you can use a shield with a whip.

 

Yea definitely a fury, SS isn't very good unless your only wanting to train strength id get a fury and whip with a dragon defender will make your tasks faster then a SS in my opinion.

 

SS is a useless item and makes you look like a noob. Get a fury.

 

i dont see how its in any way a noob item considering its supposed to be the best non degrading str training weapon in game but im not a fan of the ss, i dont notice much of a difference in xp rates over say a scimmy or brackish + ddef also using the brackish AND dscim you have alot or versatility .. most everything outside of waterfiends is weak to stab or slash so you can do pretty much anything while training str. The one handedness of the scimmy/brackish is also baddddass cuz you can always keep a dds around without needing 2 invy spaces as well (ss spec sucks) The ONLY place the SS is worth a fuck using honestly is waterfiends.. but you could buy a dscim a brackish and a zammy spear and cover all your bases with a little cash left over instead of buying a SS and the spear does great there as well . Biggest reason you should ditch SS idea is .. in the EOC you can train str with a whip .. which is sure to make the ss crash and end up losing you money in the long run which is obviously an issue of contention . FURY !

 

I'd go for the fury with the whip.
That would totally own the SS, and after you've got more money you could still buy better gear!

 

You can kill shit with a ss so i'd say that.

 

It's up to you. I'd go with the SS if you're training strength. but we need more information, if you're just generally asking, to do slayer or something; fury and whip.

There isn't even a comparison to be done here. In almost every situation the fury is the better alternative.

Depends on the situtation; don't act like you know everything. He didn't add any specifics in if he'd be strength training. Which the ss is notably better for.

 

It really depends on what you want to do.

 

Get the fury, in my opinion it's worth it WAY more than a ss. The fury you can use for many different combat skills, where ss is only for melee.

 

If you are slaying get a whip+D Defender+ Black mask+Glory. Cheaper and better than what you want currently.
